Issue Position: Economy and Jobs

Issue Position

Natalie Mosher believes our state government should ensure everyone has equal access to a good paying job. Reviving manufacturing, utilizing our world-class university system, investing in infrastructure, and standing behind small businesses in Michigan are key to reinvigorating our economy. In Lansing, Natalie Mosher will fight to:

Support our middle class by providing worker retraining assistance.
Protect worker's rights.
Ensure equal pay for equal work.
Support small businesses.
Re-build our freeways, roads and transportation infrastructure for the long-term.

Right to Work = Wrong for Michigan

Michigan's contributions throughout history solidified this country's middle class. Along side the hard work of millions of Michiganders over many decades, our state supported workers' rights to create the prosperous backbone of our state. Today, the Republican majority in the state legislature has begun chipping away at workers' rights, beginning with the right to work bill in 2012. As the Representative from Michigan's 21st District, Natalie Mosher will make sure your voices are finally heard and protect workers' rights in Michigan.

Equal pay for equal work

Women earn less than their male counterparts in ninety seven percent of full-time occupations.1 It's time Lansing lawmakers got serious about equal work for equal pay in Michigan. Natalie Mosher believes our government should support the crucial role women play in supporting Michigan families and will fight for pay equality in Lansing. Michigan women deserve nothing less.

Natalie Mosher will provide the much needed leadership to support Michigan manufacturing.
